If you are a business traveller, and you can do business throughout the world, and if you're doing in the Middle East, eventually you'll find yourself traveling to Saudi Arabia. United States dealer with Saudi Arabia, and fortunately reciprocity and purchase many goods from the United States, so obviously we buy many oil from that country, President of OPEC.
However, before traveling to one of the hotspots in the world I would recommend you read a little history on this nation so you can understand what is going on on how you should behave, and a bit about the culture, as well. In this book you will learn about the history and some current tensions between the Royal family and the citizens. You can also learn how changed oil in the country, and how the role of Saudi Arabia in the Gulf war one and two. You can also understand some aggression against the United States from some Muslims there. You will learn about the prospects for future reform, and a chance at the House of Saud could fall into the hands of the people.
Indeed, as seen when the Governments of Egypt and Tunisia, and Iran are likely to see major changes to Government, overthrow this can happen also in Saudi Arabia, and this can have serious consequences for the region and the oil supply and US involvement in Middle East. As a commercial traveller, it may also affect your business, your personal safety if you travel there are major problems.
Some argue that if but when others would have you think there is any problem at all. However, if you are traveling for business or personal reasons you need to be even facts surrounding all conflicts.
